The pictures of time and space are rearranged, "You and me, we'll all go down in history with a sad Statue of Liberty and a generation that didn't agree", means our generation will be remebered in the text books as the dumb asses who were gulable enough to still beleive the bullshit after all of the other times propoganda was swallowed up and beleived so easily. realizes what is going on and makes it sad to see it's great country doing this. "Eloquence,(The quality of persuasive, powerful expression) belongs to the conqueror." This means that the person in control is persuasive and can control what people think. I agree totally with the guy with the long interpretation, but I think one of the most important themes of this song is the propoganda.
